A seasoned, entrepreneurial finance executive of some 20 years, forming part of executive leadership teams within a variety of industries, including mining and resources, manufacturing, automotive and the professional assurance sectors. Participating in asset acquisitions, target asset generation and preparing various companies for an Initial Public Offering on the Australian Securities Exchange. Accustomed to spearheading the financial, commercial and business development initiatives for clients in their search to realise value through ASX listing, or asset acquisition. Ex-CFO of several mining and resources companies in the coal mining sector, directing the pillars of finance, information technology and systems, legal and human resources.

As an associate of Protea Resources, assisting clients with completing reports in terms of the ASX Listing Rules with disclosures according to the ASX Corporate Governance Council’s Principles and Recommendations. Previously as an Associate Director within the Internal Audit Risk and Compliance practise of KPMG. I have been an integral part of the client service team delivering services to KPMG clients within a varied number of industries. In particular, to KPMG South Africa’s largest Travel, Leisure and Tourism client for the last 8 years; 5 of those as the engagement partner.
